I would be remiss if I neglected to stress the essential of praying. I think we can all agree that there has to be some greater being out there in some realm of imagination. For me, it's always been God. When things seem too out of hand, I send up a plea for help or patience. As I realize I've had the perfect day, a prayer of gratitude goes to God. It's important for us as humans, especially in the hectic society of today, to be able to talk to a being and know we are heard. Sometimes just talking difficulties out loud to God is enough; other times it takes being in the presence of a church or person to truly feel the connection and power prayer can bring.
